September Updates

Special Events coming up at LYC:

Full Moon Yoga with Natalie
Saturday September 14th 7pm-8:30pm

The full moon is a great opportunity to cast away all that is not serving you in order to start anew with a “clean slate.” By candle (and moon) light, we will do a simple but powerful full moon ritual, a moon salutation asana (movement) sequence, and seal our practice with a hot stone Savasana.

New Moon Sound Journey – Sound Meditation with Crystal Singing Bowls and Gongs
with Nina & Michael Vecchi

Friday September 27th 6:30pm
Combine the healing release and cleansing of crystal singing bowls and gongs along with guided imagery to send a powerful wish to the universe.  Arrive early to check in and settle in.  Use the props we have available to get comfy, or feel free to bring your own blanket/pillow.
$20 (no passes)

Restorative Yoga with Noël
Sunday September 8th 5-6pm

This calming and rejuvenating practice combines supported positions, calming music, essential oils (optional), and guided meditation. We begin with gentle floor-based warm ups and then move into supported positions where we spend 5-10 minutes each, in order to allow the body to fully settle into each posture. With our bodies at ease, we are able to tune into our breath for a deeper experience of clarity and intention. We end with an extended final relaxation pose (savasana). No experience necessary. Bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, and blocks will be available, but please feel free to bring your own if you choose.

Intro To Essential Oils
Sunday September 22nd 2pm

Come join Jenn and Ashley to learn about what essential oils are and the ways to use them.  We will be discussing how you can incorporate oils into your daily life, focusing specifically on Young Living essential oils.
This class is free, with an option to make and take home an oil roller for $5 (cash only please).
