Upcoming Events: Stretch & Reflect with Jen L $20 ($18 members) 75min Sunday February 27th 5pm A yin yoga class especially designed for deep tissue release, improve mobility, flexibility and increase blood flow. Poses will be held for 2-5 min and practiced seated on the mat, using props to access them and to accommodate all levels of flexibility. This is a deep slow paced practice that can get you into a peaceful state of relaxation right away with the help of calming breath techniques and guided suppport. A 15 min savasana meditation will follow ending your practice with a positive, calm and restorative perspective. Yoga Nidra with Pam $20 ($18 members) 75min Sunday February 20th 5pm Yoga Nidra is a guided visual meditation. Most practices are done lying down and include several stages to relax the body, mind and emotions. The goal is to move into a state of sleep with trace awareness. All are welcome. Yoga Foundations with Pam Tuesdays 5:30pm The emphasis is on basic poses and breathing correctly, which will help you establish a solid foundation. If you are new to yoga, returning to the mat or looking to ground your practice, Yoga Foundations classes could be ideal for you. These classes focus on a new area of practice each week. This foundational program is designed for those who want to practice yoga safely, strongly, and effectively. Students will learn the essential poses and techniques, while experiencing movement and flow. Monday Morning Gratitude with Ashley Mondays 9:30am A full body morning yoga flow to build strength, increase flexibility, and leave you feeling energized. Start your week off with gratitude by balancing your mind, body, and spirit with breathing techniques, movement, and optional chanting to close. All levels are welcomed. Happy Hips & Low Back with Ashley Wednesdays 9:30am A full body yoga sequence with a primary focus on relieving pain and tension in the hips and lower back. The shapes and movements in this practice target improving hip and spinal mobility, pain alleviation, and building strength while working with the breath. All levels are welcomed. Gentle Stretch with Lisa Fridays 9:30am This is an all levels class, in which gentle postures are held for several minutes to facilitate a deep stretch in the body. This nourishing practice works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. It is a great balance for more active forms of movement. Meditation will also be incorporated into this class.
